New RAE questions

So I saw this promo video for the new RAE, and I had some questions. In the background of the characters, there was a sign that advertised them as the mijjins. Was that a different incarnation? Also, I noticed some familiar songs. Did CEI record new shows or recycle old ones? Finally, did it run with the greybox, or a completely new system, and did it use VHS?

Mijjins were what those version of robots were reffered to. They were miniatures compared to the Original Rae. The Mijjins were also available as human like chars too not just the Rock-afire.

Both new and old. There were a couple of shows created especially for the "New" Rock-afire. But by and large a vast majority was recylced and reprogrammed from the original shows.

To my knowledge a new system was created that utilized a VHS and Apple IIe. I've only seen one of these shows personally and I did not see a grey box anywhere in the control room.

I had ended up with some plugs for the characters that Aaron gave me and Beach Bear and Mitzi ended up being for the new Rock afire. I didnt know this until of course after the molds were finished and then tried to fit them on the robot. So now I have two excellent molds for the new Rock afire and nothing to do with them. Oh well.
