Hi Gang!

Well it's about 3 weeks now until the Event of the Year, so it's time we had a official thread for folks to sign up on.

Now this year things are being done a little bit different. Normally we ask for attendees to send a e-mail and say they are coming so we can have a accurate head count. Kudos go out to those of you who have already done this via the Showbiz.com e-mail address for CV, as well as the "old" one i still check over at Yahoo.com. Much appreciated!

This year though, considering we will have everyone pretty much from out of town, and the extensive road trips we will be taking, it was brought to my attention that it would probably be a good idea to collect everyones personal info to insure we keep in touch, and heaven forbid an emergency comes up.

So here's what i would like EVERYONE who is coming to CV4 do:

This is a big event, and CA is a big State. We want to be absolutely sure everyone is together and in contact so things will go smoothly.

Seriously, I think this is a great idea and am sending info now.

I will also offer to be a contact person for friends/family to contact while we are there, if an emergency arises and family needs to contact a member while attending CV.

I won't be attending anaheim gang. Cause of getting back for work. I'm gonna be glad to see most of you guys for CV4.

I will need a ride to and from airport. and vis versa. I'll need to book a room for san jose hotel. and of course I'd would need a ride to and from hotel. I guess most of you are going to attend disneyland? and rock afire pizza?

I think Rock-afire pizza's been replaced by the CEC in Simi Valley with the Rocker Stage. :cecwink:

lol. well the problem is i wouldn't have a ride back to go back to san jose califronia air port on the 20th.

Rock-aFire Pizza is STILL scheduled, however.....IF we go or not really depends on how things go at uWink and how long Nolan spends time with us.

IF he arrives and spends a lot of time, i think everyone would agree it would be the paramount choice to stay as long as we can and enjoy his company. When we part company, we can have dinner at the Simi CEC afterwards and blow off RA Pizza.

Now IF Nolan ends up not being at uWink, or spends a short amount of time with us, then it will be back to the original plan: Lunch at uWink, head to Simi and then RA Pizza for dinner.

It's really how we all feel at the time, and how well things go with the visit(s) by our Special Guests that will determine if we do end up going to RAPizza. Since RAPizza does not have that great of a review lately ( the show is in very poor shape..WHEN it is running...) i think the majority of the interest would be to skip it and go to Simi.

I will not rule it out totally though...who knows, we may decide to go after all!

What happens Saturday afternoon will really determine what we do that evening i think.

J isn't coming this year & Jenn isn't flying into San Jose she is flying into Oakland as both she and Matt (franchize) are staying at my house the night before Cheesevention begins. Judging by your posts it sounds like you are coming by yourself?

is there a hotel close by you CEC3066? I really want to go to cv4? even if i can only stay in san jose for a few days till the 20th of may. i understand that your planning on also attending anaheim?

well there are Problems left and righ those being: After we leave San Jose EVERYONE who is going oon the trip will be going down south so you would have to too. If when we went to The Simi Valley CEC we decided to also hit Rock Afire Pizza that same night You'd have to come w/ us. we could NOT back track and return to Simi & pick you up as Simi and Indio where Rock Afire Pizza is are roughly 2 hours away from each other and there is no way we'd be able to get you BACK to SJ to catch a flight home you'd have to book a flight from an airport down there. I don't mean to dampen your spirits Nevin but I think in all Honesty it would just be best for you to sit this CV out & save up for next year.

Yeah that's right Danny. cause when when my family here was talking about this to me. this would be alot to handle for me along.:/ Plus I'd need some one to either go with me or meet me at the airport. well there is always next year. but i was so wanting to do this cause of Chuck E. Cheese's Big 30th anniversary party with all of you fans! It's ok i'll be thinking about you guys while i'd be here as usual at my home store over in whitehall pa. And there's no one else here in PA that takes a really big interest in it like you or me.:/ I'm looking forward to seeing what photos and other stuff you guys and gals got all in. and maybe from my end I could purchase a cv4 t-shirt in a large size? if any of those Large t-shirt sizes would be left over.:D
