This is a question that has been burning in the back of my mind for some time now, and finally i can ask about it here!

I think only Vega and Brian can tell me the answer...but perhaps the listening audience may recall hearing these broadcast, but i am wondering if they were.

About 2/3 years ago now, i recorded some follow up radio shows for the then ongoing series on Radio Showbiz called "Letters to Looney Bird". I recorded 4 to 5 more shows and sent the cassette off. It was a good one too, and to this day i regret not having made myself a copy!

I had done 3/4 shows originally if a remember right and those were broadcast on Radio Showbiz. Vega asked for some more shows to follow them up with, which i did, but to date i still do not know if they were ever used. Just curiouis, as since Radio Showbiz changed over to Live365 i have not been able to listen to it on my computer.

So were those follow up shows ever broadcast? They were very funny....the highlight being some of the very random questions fans sent to him to answer on the air and the "famous" on-air fight between Chuck E. Cheese and Mickey Mouse! Priceless.....Both fight amounst themselves for the listeners' dollars and Looney is caught in the middle trying to regain control of his radio program!

It will not bother me if it turns out these shows were never used, all i would like to know is if they were or not.

Also, i would like to get a copy of that original tape, or maybe even the tape back if it is not needed anymore....any chance of that?

Hey Jenn, I'm not sure if they were added to the lineup. Travis handles the playlists, so he would definitely know. Have any of you listeners heard them?

Thankd Brian for the update.....

Yeah it was a good three years ago now i sent the tape to Vega. It may have been missplaced or just lost in the shuffle of the times. My goal is the "find it" again and at least get a copy!

Still can't beleive i DID"NT!

The CEC vs. Mickey battle was a hoot. It starts with Looney being reminded of that "other pizza place" while answering a fan letter on the air and suddenly Chuck E. joins in much to Looney's disgust. Chuck plugs away ( hey kids! Come to my place and spend all your money! You know you want to!) and suddenly Mickey arrives to coounter-plug. He starts promoting his Park ( kids, come to my Parks and spend all your money!) and the war begins! This is all taking place while Looney is trying to conduct a civilized radio program mind you...

.At one point i think Billy Bob shows up to try to cool everyone down and Looney Bird finally blows his top. The battle went on for two of the 5/6 new shows....with one or the other counter-plugging there own place! Man it was so nutty...but SO funny!

One of the questions from a fan asked if Looney Bird ever had a girlfriend, and at one point as he is rambling on about the topic it is hinted that he once had a "thing going" with Mitzi! Don't ask......lol

I really hope these recordings are found!

Great news folks:

Vega has told me that all 8 segments of "Letters to Looney Bird" are now being broadcast on Radio Showbiz in rotation, right now!

Woo Hoo!!

Thanks again for unearthing the last 6 "lost" shows!

If anyone here hears them, let me know what you think!

The "Letters to Looney Bird LIVE" video program that J and i have been working on since last Autumn is chugging along nicely. Two shows are now filmed and ready, with one more planned before release!

:)
