I know about the Mouser font but what is the "Classic Chuck" you have for the 2007 Cheesevention logo? Or the Showbiz Pizza logo? Pleaser help me! :cec_smile:

Do you mean the cool option we have now to change the fonts on the Message Forum to our own settings?

There are several nice ones listed on the bottom of the main Message Forum screen.

The CV4 logo font is only used on the "Special Events" page.

The font Jenn used for the CheeseVention logo was just hand drawn (I believe). I've been trying to find that script font they used on the early 80s PTT logo, but no such luck.

Most of these fonts are professional and cost $$ for the downloads (for instance the ShowBiz font is really known as 'frankfurter'). Anyway the ones we use were developed by one of our board members. They're not exact but are close enough. I think he did a great job making them useable.

TSF Showroom (ShowBiz font)
TSF Chuckster (Newest style CEC font)
Showroom (alternate ShowBiz font)
Pizza Theatre (Pizza Time non-script font)

Yes, the Cv4 script logo i drew by hand, based on the original classic PTT font of the era.

My guess as to why it is difficult to find this font is because of all the complicated interlocking letters. I would image it would be tough to type whatever you wanted and have it all match up and "connect" properly.

Hey I'm only the distributor... the guy who actually made these incredible fonts went by the name of "ThatSmilingFace" and I think he's the one that deserves the major kudos. :cec_thumbs:

How Do You Use The Fonts?

Windows has made things pretty simple and idiot proof on fonts which is good because I hate installing stuff like that to my system :cec_smile:

You have to unzip the files first and then take the font file (not the TXT files that are included with some of the zips) and just drag and drop them into your font folder and Windows automatically installs them.

I'm using XP Media Center but most should be the same (Vista might be different... haven't used it enough to know yet). But here's the file path to your fonts folder:

Start > Control Panel > Fonts

So just dump them in there and they should pop on for use in other programs.
