WHOSE BEEN TO IKEA? A NEW ONE JUST OPENED ACROSS THE STREET FROM A CEC THAT'S NOT FAR FROM ME. i PLAN ON GOING IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. NO NOT CEC. IKEA:lol

I had been ... but I don't think I will again. The quality of their stuff isn't that high. It is cheap and it looks cheap. Walking through their stores is like hell. I needed more than ten minutes to get out. No, thank you. If I need furniture I will buy it somewhere else.

Have you already been to IKEA or is this your "first time"?

yep this will be my first visit. all I've heard is good things. hmm! the thing there talking about most is the food the restaraunt and the sweedish meatballs.. Thanks for the advice FancyHearingCake.:D

Okay, I haven't been there, I just wanted to get out. But who knows, maybe your IKEA store is better than the one I visited. And probably you will also have a nice meal ;)

Never been to IKEA, but there is one in Schaumburg, IL.

Yeah, we have a few of those here in Jersey. One is in Elizabeth, across from a HUGE Toys 'R' Us (and it's nowhere near as big as Times Square) and one in Paramus (not relatively close to the CEC, I think).

They have a lot of things, like cheap $5 stools that anyone can assemble to these cool glass spheres and lights that make a cool effect when combined. I have a few of these. And if there is a food marketplace, I recommend buying a bag or two of Scandinavian chips.

WARNING: If you're buying something, be prepared. From my experience, there are VERY long lines (though those are mostly on weekends)

(By the way, has anyone here been to Times Square Toys 'R' Us? That place is great for kids, torture for everyone else. And they have long lines, too!)
