Now if anyone knows any of this information to be incorrect please advise us so that we can change the listing. Our goal is for this to be 100% Correct.

We believe this information will benefit a lot of us fans who are working on our own personal shows.

The only error I can see is the Spotlight assignments. Spot #7 is always Rolfe. Spot #8 is always Earl (no-matter what position the arm is in).

Other than that, it looks good to me guys. Seems to match up to the items I have laid out on my own.

HELP MODS!

Can we please create a sub board for the tech info threads here? This is too good to get lost in everything else.

Not all locations have the RAF 100 panel, right? We have the 8-triac driver boards and 20-triac driver boards.

CC-SP [Spots]
CC-SE [Special Effects - 20 triacs]
CC-CL [Billy Bob's stage]
CC-CS [Center and Rolfe's stage]
CC-HL [House Lights]

Curtains control wires go directly from the grey-box computer to the curtain boxes on the walls, 3 wires each.

Yes, I'd love to see what that looks like... I know the RAF 100 came later on in the show, I'm guessing 82 or 83. But I'm pretty sure most, if not all, shows upgraded to it.

You can upload your pictures to photobucket or some other site and just post the link back here on the board.

I'd also like to know where on the grey box you can wire up the curtains!:eek THe less I have to run out of the RAF the better I'm going to be! Is it a special cable or something?

Thanks
Damon

For curtains -
The three curtain control cables come out of the "SPOTS" connector on the top drawer (pins 14-19). They are just 3-wire cables. After about 4 or 5 feet they have a 3-pin molex connector just to allow you to disconnect them, but that is optional.

I have actually never seen a store that had the RAF 100. All the stores in Houston have the original setup, except instead of having all the triac driver boards in one huge cabinet (like in the picture) they have them in individual, cramped boxes.

I think it is interesting that the Cyberstar system uses one ribbon cable that hooks up to the top and bottom drawers.

Kinda off topic here but I can't believe the computer room in Rod's pic has the new carpet...Every 3 stage computer room I've ever been in(like 8 ) have the old Showbiz carpet still! hmm

Gabe, which lighting panels did they use in San Antonio?

You're right, we do have the newer carpet in the computer room. EXCEPT underneath the rack! haha. .they didn't move it so there is one square of ShowBiz carpet.

Jeez, no Idea Rod, I never looked inside the box, I didn't get into the technical stuff until I transfered to Military Dr.(2-stage) :p
