Does anyone here know of a good replacement for the old "CEI Lube" that was used on the eyelids (according to the Blue Manual) of characters? Like many "proprietary" CEI things, I'm sure it was just something off-the-shelf that was repackaged, but I have no previous experience with it to know what to use as a replacement.

It's just good ol' ky jelly... :rollin (Seriously) PS- It needs to be KY. Vasaline is not a good sub.

Mmmm MMm . Nothing reminds me of a great homestyle breakfast than some dry white toast, fresh creamery butter, and good ol' KY Jelly. I have always loved the taste of my mother's 'Kentucky Jelly' but cannot find it at the grocery store anywhere.

I'll have to check. It came in a large blueish-green tube. Some kind of silicone gel.

Hmm..
I have seen some silicone sprays and gels made by 3M on their website. Perhaps I will just try some of those, and see how they work.
Not to mention it will be less embarassing than going to get some parts for Dook, stopping by Walgreen's for some KY, and having to say "No, it's not what you think... It's for my dog!" as the clerk hits the panic button....

The cleaning/standards manual mentions #7 Clear Release Compound for lubricating the eyeballs and eyelids. I did an internet search and can't find anything on it, so I need to remember to look at the tube at the store!

I got about 10 cannesters of CEI Lube but Aaron had told me also to use KY Jelly if it wasnt available.
