I'm watching the Uncle Klunk installation video on Youtube, and it got me thinking - was there a special showtape that involved only the other two stages, similar to the Concept Unification Rolfe and Earle (I fully realize I spelled it wrong :lol ) tape, or was it all done in one night?

Yes you are right. It's called the Fatz show and featured songs with Fatz on lead with the exception of Mr. Bassman which is really more a Billy Bob song. Fatz of course does have an important part in the duet. Also, a special B-day reel was used during this time. Same songs as always (there were only 4 for Showbiz) but the Rolfe stage was edited out. Klunk did take multiple nights to set up. I'm not sure how many exactly but during this time these 2 special shows were used.

I've had parts of Klunk... mask, valance and at one point a coocoo clock. Those were traded or sold to other fans for other stuff I needed. I did get one of the reels from Aaron too. It would be cool to see a fully working Klunk stage in someone's collection. I know Circus Pizza Fan got one with his lot when he won a show from CEI on Ebay. I think he got the mask and valance but I don't believe he has valves or cosmetics for it.

Aaron's got some.... ;) Hopefully I can add one of these to my collection someday down the line, as I agree that it would be awesome to have one up and running.
Yeah the most I know of anyone having in the fan community is bits and pieces. I have the mask, valance, a set of small and larger sized ears, the portrait of his mom, and the plug they used to make his shoes. Oh and the mech for his arm (the one with the grabbing hand - they actually made that out of fiberglass and not laytex).
So yeah, I'm a bit away from having a full Klunk. :)

I have an Uncle Klunk question too. Who is the guy talking on the Uncle Klunk Install tape?

Well, to be perfectly honest my show has seen more action this past week than it has since it arrived fresh from Florida. Before anyone gets excited, I'm talking about moving it from my old garage into a storage unit. I swore I was only going to move it once more (into it's permanent location), but well, life gets in the way of that sometimes.
So yeah, it's moved to storage for the time being. Got a few more oddball items left behind which I'm going to move this week as well. This is what's been keeping me from the forum - but by the end of this week I should be completely moved and can get back into the swing of things around here.

Honestly, they show 41 Klunks in this picture (yeah, blame me for counting!), so I'd assume they do show up from time to time.
...Or if you don't manage to get your hands on the bot, all you need is a yellow suit jacket and a Napoleon Dynamite wig!
I have heard through another CEI ex employee that one of the main people who were at CEI in the beginning. And this person is featured on almost all of the old CEI footage. Anyway..this guy has a Klunk in his garage. Complete with valves and all. I still have not contacted the person to find out for sure. I may and try to get my hands on it. If not at least contact the person and maybe he can list it on ebay.

Wow, that would be great! I'd be bidding on that for sure! Let us know if he lists it.

Sure will. I talked with my other friend that is an ex CEI employee also and he told me the guy works nights but he was gonna try and get his number for me.
