Hey everyone, it is great reading all the stories that people have posted that are either about buying a show or getting a show together from parts they have acquired. I know many of you have installed them in your home or other personal place but my question is for everyone who owns a show OR just has a great idea of where to place a show. What places do you think a show could be installed besides inside of a restraunt/entertainment center? I think that a show just set up in a traditional CEC style showroom will not get much attention anymore. I wonder what ideas you have for a show like karaoke or a show that’s mobile and can be placed easily from location to location or what Disney is doing. So everyone put on your thinking caps and place your ideas here…even if you think your idea is not great please place it here---the idea could be altered and become something all together different. Well, I've always thought of having a room that was perfectly square. Then in each corner, would be 4 seperate stages only big enough to fit 1 character. Have Jasper, Pasqually, Helen and Mr. Munch on each of them. In the center backwall, have a slightly bigger stage with a lot of lights with Chuck on it. They'd be 2-stage MMBB robots, and their stages would look like a balcony-type of design, only it would be full sized. Have a brown cieling, navy blue carpet, and orange walls with a wood panel going around it. Helicopter lights all around. Also each stage has WORKING curtains.

Well,
The first places that come to mind are all restaurant or entertainment venues. 6 Flags - CEC - Disney.
I started to think about the total opposite.
How about Funeral Parlors, Police Stations, and the local Cargill Hybrid Seed dealer?
Seriously, Anamatronic "shows" need to be in places where people would stop and watch for a few moments, but, those places have to have a customer base with high turnover in order to cover the expense of an attraction like this.
I would love for a robot show at my doctor's office while I am waiting, but that won't happen. Where do people reagullarly go to flush their hard earned cash down the drain? I keep coming back to restaurants and theme parks.

The grocery store thing like stew lenords and jungle jims is a really novel and new approach. Also I think maybe a bar might work but the material would need to be for an older crowd. Dolli would have fit well in such an environment. What about a fast food type place? Not so much a McDonald's as a small mom and pop deal? Bowling alleys are another one. There is an RAE mini-stage near Nashville Tn. It is in its own "birthday room" away from the bowling lanes themselves. It's sort of a food court type area. Also agritourism is getting big where farms become eductional attractions for schools to take feild trips and a good place for families to have an afternoon together. My uncle and I own a farm and have explored ideas. I would like to put an animatronic show of some type out there eventually. It would probably be a single character show. Definately nothing as elaborate as the Rock-afire.

Some McDonald's have robots. Like the Solid Gold McDonald's in Greenfield, WI by Southridge Mall. I love that place!!! Except with The Mac Tonight Show, there's some noticable things needed to be changed for a good show, but it's still cool. Also right down the street, there's the All-Star McDonald's which *had* "The Ronald Show," which reminded me of a PTT balcony setup cause he is half-bodied. It doesn't work any longer (at least the past few times I went), and is now just a display.

At the risk of sounding stupid, what is Disney doing? I haven't been on here long and need to catch up!! :D
