My husband and I went to Hillwood Saturday to bowl, so of course I dragged him back into the skating/arcade/bumper cars/pizza party area to see RAE.
I cannot accurately convey how sad I was. I made a post not long ago about the condition of the show - that Billy Bob's hand had fallen off, but it still played original music and the characters, for the most part, moved appropriately.
Well, last week NOTHING was working. NONE of the characters (Mitzi, Fatz, and Billy Bob - Looney Bird is in the oil drum but he hasn't ever come up as far as I've seen) moved an INCH. The speakers were busted so all you could hear was crackling, and there were these little ghetto MONSTERS running around everywhere like animals in a zoo.
I walked quickly up to the stage because I wanted to take a picture with my camera phone of Billy Bob to keep as my wallpaper on my phone, and then I tucked tail and RAN before I got trampled by the evil little hoodlums.
Terrible, guys, terrible. My original post displayed happiness that the show was still up, despite minor problems, but that is a whole different ballgame from NOTHING working. It's like going to your best friend's funeral.
