2n'd gen char's

hey guy's..
so I was wondering did Aar ever make any shows that had the second gen chars working or where they just prototypes w/o a controll system?

No... Unfortunately there was never a show that featured the Second Generation Characters. Mitzi and Dook were the only 2 characters that every even made it off the drawing board. I have heard talks of the 2nd Gen Beach Bear that would have stood up off his Surf Board... Now that would have been awesome too!

There is footage in the Upcoming CEI Tour DVD that shows the 2nd Gen Dook in action. He was hooked up to a controller and running. There is also footage in the Colander Head Telethon of the working 2nd Gen Mitzi. So I would venture to say that these control systems were still around somewhere.

During our time with Aaron at the tour he said "ONE DAY" he would get a 2nd Gen Dook hooked up and running so that he could program him to play Wipeout~!

Yeah. Also only 4 incomplete Dook 2nd Gen robots were made and only a single 2nd gen Mitzi was ever done. Utilizing these characters which had many more movements would have required modifications to the grey box or replacement to the system altogether, especially if other 2nd gen characters were added to the show with more movements.

One can only wonder what amazing versions we would be seeing now being turned out from CEI if the RAE was still in resturants and not the CEC Bots'.

The exsiting 2nd Gen Characters mentioned above are still at CEI.....very cool to see them last year.
