I have a question on programing on the Rockafire Explosion.

In the shows, from a Beatles show or to the Tune Machine show, etc., is there a specific point in the show where the programmer has to have characters look at each other, like Mitzi look at Beach Bear or Dook looking at Fatz and the rest of the band? Or does the programmer have his/her choice to do what he/she wants as far as characters looking at each other, etc.?

Also, is there a specific point where the Sun, Moon, Choo-Choo, and Antioch have to come out during a part of a show or is it also left with the programmers discretion if he/she wants one of those four to come out during a show?

Your wording is a little bit unclear as to what exactly you mean... if you are asking does some higher up person tell the programmer things like that... maybe. But for the most part the programmer just did things that were common sense. Generally the group all turned to look at who was singing or speaking. The sun and moon came up during background vocals or if they were referenced. For example when Mitzi is sing the parody birthday song "All I Wanna Do" (based on the Sheryl Crow song) there is a line where she sings "The sun and the moon" and as her arms raise they pop up like she's gesturing to them. The b-day spider dropped down when he spoke on rare occasions and sometimes at the end of songs. I think most of it was up to the programmer most of the time and common sense dictated as to which character looked at who or when the props were used. There may have occasionally been something specified like "Sun and moon should pop up during this part" or whatever but I think mostly it was the programmer's discretion. By the way, Aaron programmed originally followed by "Kathy #1" and then "Cathy #2" (who did the much of the material after the Rock-afire was no longer in showbiz). I'm not sure on the shows corporate programmed. This might be a good question for Michael aka puppetmaster who currently programs the CEC shows or maybe Mix his predecessor if he happens to check the board again.
