This past weekend I was up in the Boston area to videotape an interview with Looney Bird for my TV show, with the help of Jenn and J, along with DanielLion of Furry TV (http://www.furrytv.com)

Looney Bird's guest spot will be an episode of Rapid T. Rabbit and Friends (http://pawpet.org/rapidtrabbit) in the near future, airing on cable TV in New York City and also on the Internet. I plan to also make this episode available for viewing through this board.

Check out that awesome "virtual" set!

We had a BLAST out in Cambridge this past weekend making this. it was a lot of fun, and eventually i'm sure this will make it as a "bonus feature" on a future dvd release ( not the Cv3 one however...)

Wait until you see this folks...it's pretty wacky....

Yes Captain..there is this whole sub-plot involving the Dalek! Wait until you see...it makes perfect sense in Looney's twisted little world.....

The show has been broadcast already i believe, and Richard has sent J and i a copy of the master. It's good fun...with Looney getting visably annoyed whenever Rapid mentions Chuck E. He added some nice overview clips of some of the topics they talk about too like CV2, Showbiz.Com's Radio Showbiz and Letters to Looney program.

There is another video program in the works that features Looney Bird. J and I are putting togther a series called "Letters to Looney Bird Live" and have filmed a few ephisodes already. It will be some time before this is released though...but it should be worth the wait. Just to give you a sneak peek....

J and Looney answer fan letters' questions on the Dick Frank couch "live" on camera. Nothing is scripted, so there are some hilarious one liners and ramdom moments. They watch some tv, and make some comments about what they are watching. Looney further explains about the Daleks for those like J who don't know what they are all about....as well as Mickey and Chuck having a off-camera aurgement about where viewers at home should go to "spend all there money"!

The show culminates in J revealing that Looney lied about going to TX for CV3 ( those who were at CV3 and saw the J video message will understand this). J then decided to take Looney on a "mystery ride" with the promise of ending up some where "fun that has pizza, tokens, and a free show!". Bet you can guess where they ended up....as J's revenge! Hilarious stuff...all filmed on location too! Wait until you see what happens when Looney gets to the Showroom and sees what is behind the promising curtains. The best scene by far is when Looney decides to explore the stage and see if he can find Sun and Moon behind the fake buildings. Much to his utter disgust the show starts suddenly, and all hell breaks loose!

Should be a winner.......

This will eventually be released next year as a dvd, which will include the Richard interview above and the CV3 video message from J that was left off the CV3 dvd set.

Look for it in early 2007...if all goes well!

The Looney Bird episode as of this posting has not aired yet but is scheduled to be cablecast over Manhattan Neighborhood Network (http://mnn.org) in New York City on Wednesday, November 22 (Thanksgiving eve) at 5:30pm ET. You can watch it over the Internet at that exact time through this Windows Media link (http://mnn.org/sitefiles/mnn.org/streams/ch57.asx).
Not responsible for technical difficulties or errors by MNN.

The show is also scheduled to be webcast on Sunday, December 10 at 6:30pm ET prior to the Funday Pawpet Show (http://pawpet.org/shows).

I would like to put this show on YouTube also but that would mean splitting it up into three pieces (due to their 10-minute limit on videos from non-artist members). Should I put it on there as such or does anybody here have an artist account that can host it?

Hey Richard, I have a directors account that can host it for ya. Told them I was into 'amateur comedic movies' heh heh...

Anyway the account is "FunnyPantsMcGee" and the password is the exact same one you used for that 'other' account you were uploading clips to.

PS - I also have most all of your CEC related videos from the old RTR account saved in FLV format. Let me know if you want me to email these to you or burn them to a CD or something. I think I saved the one with Telly Monster too. 8)

Thanks Vega but I still posess the pre-upload files of my videos as originally encoded and have since restored them to YT under new accounts named funnycarrottv, tenderheartcarebear and rtrx. The "Be My Friend" video is being re-uploaded directly to the 0011 account, please add it to the archive page here along with the Looney Bird interview.

I had no idea that Looney Bird was a Dr. Who fan.

Looney is a serious Doctor Who fan Captain......

So much so his barrel was modified into a TARDIS a few years back ( this is revealed in the forthcoming Looney Bird disc) and has a Dalek as his co-manager now.

He's a freak over this show!

I am too...huge fan since the 70's. Tom Baker is GOD!!
