Yep...i'm sure other RAE fans here feel the same way.

X-mas has NOT officially arrived until you whip out your copy of "Homely for Christmas" and listened to it for the first time that season. Of course, serious RAE fans probably listen to this gem year round ( i know you people! LOL!) but seriously....i'm talking about that great feeling you get when you listen to those old X-mas shows during the actual holiday season!

So let's hear all about your special memories associated with Chirstmastime and the Rock-aFire. Any particular shows/songs that bring back a flood of thoughts from the past? Any fave shows?

I always enjoyed "Homely for Christmas" a LOT. I have my official cassette copy here and always look forward to popping it in the first week in December and listening to those first few notes. Man it's awesome stuff!!

I have listened to that tape during snowstorms as i stand outside waiting for the bus to work ( Oooo fun...) and i have to say hearing Beach Bear sing about Frosty the Snowman dancing around like James Brown always floors me. Great stuff. Classic. I would consider this show to be during the RAE's best era, anyone else agree?

Oh and then of course there is the infamous "Disco Christmas". I remember Kerry recorded this onto tape and brought it to work one day ( at that time we were both still working at the Danvers CEC). We played it for our manager friends ( including the GM) and they were stunned when Mitzi belted out "*****ng on Santa Claus Lane...". Ha ha!! Can you imagine...that song playing in a CEC office? Great stuff man....

So let's hear your tales!

Oh absolutely man!

The closet i get to "watching" that X-mas show is when i watch one of my old videos.

Not the same as being there in person, but still a mighty nice way to relive the expereince.

That skit was hilarious. I remember the night this was played on a casette player for our managers at our CEC....you should have seen their faces when they heard Mitzi's famous lyric!

Ha ha..it was hilarious!
