Hey all.

I'm obviously fishing for people who feel the way I do, as I'm posting in the RAE forum. But I started listening to the Showbiz radio station (which is awesome!), but last time I listened it was all RAE. I noticed the other day when it switched to PTT stuff, my interest just went way down. I don't know if its the song types, Chuck's voice or what but I just don't quite like it as well. I've got a lotta love for the balcony shows, they're awesome. But I dunno. Maybe if the show was in front of me, but with RAE it's just as entertaining as with the show (I suppose, since it's been 20 years!)

Thoughts?

I do the uploading and song choices and I agree 100%.

I love the RAE and think they sound great just to listen to (on a musical level). The Pizza Time Players stuff is harder on the ears. Most of them are so in character that they can't sing or carry a tune in a bucket. That's kinda their nostalgic charm in a way, but watching the balcony perform the shows really does bring them together in a way the audio alone never can.

Plus I'm not hot on the newer CEC stuff too much either. In my perfect world the station would run solid RAE 24hrs a day, and I know other board members will second that notion. But I don't run the station for just me, and honestly I got quite a few requests to have the CEC stuff added back in while it was set just on the Rock-afire songs. :\

So yes I agree. The Rock-afire rules.

As much as I agree RAE rules, CEC had great stuff from 1989-1995 (my golden years). :eek

I do say though, I appreciate them being there. It is great to hear the older material. I'd rather have access to them than not at all. I almost enjoy the fact that I can't download the Mp3s...keeps me coming back for a variety of music. VegaNova, does it cost much to do the Live365 broadcast? I just love it and hope it never goes away. I no longer dread cleaning my house as I can listen to the RAE on the weekends.
