There are a few "awards" we have to give out for this thing:

Menutia: "We aren't stopping til they all run"- Mike got in a 3pm thurs. Took a 5 min break after driving 8 hours that day and headed to the garage to work on the show. Took an hour break to get Jenn with us, came back at 9pm, got about 3 bites of Chinese food and worked til 4am to get the show going and wasn't ready to quit.

Donovan: "Sing it B#@*%"- You just have to have been there. He was our energy and spirtual leader this weekend.

Jenn: "Official Animatronic Hair Stylist" I didn't want to let her leave. If I could have just kept her my show will look new forever. It's amazing what a hair brush will do. I still want that vest!!!

Mat Hat: "Is This Cake Taken?" You just had to have been there.

Travis: "The missing man award" Where did you REALLY go?

My Award has to go out to The Captain himself, as without him, NONE of what happened at CV3 would have happened to begin with!

He put a LOT of time and work into this Event...and i'd just like to personally thank you Mike for all that you did, and all you had to deal with ( like no sleep...and a trashed house! LOL!)

Seriously though....The Captain and Menutia were THE guys who deserve some recognition for their tireless efforts to get things ready and operating for us all for CV.

I think one of the best CV moments i had was spending Thursday night with Menutia, Mike, and Steven in the garage trying to get the PTT Cyberamic show up and running. When we started at 9PM, only Pasqually was fully working ( figures...groan!). By 2am, we had everyone going plus the Warblelettes, Flag Waver, and the Clapper Boards' lights. YEESSS!!!! Thank you Steven for helping solve the major issue we had with Munch's mouth and the Birds! You rock man!

I want to send out a special thanks to everyone who filmed this Event and the shows as well. I WANT YOUR FOOTAGE for the Cv3 dvd release! Please send what you captured to this address c/o "CheeseVention Footage"

Gabe, if you guys would like to edit the CV program then by all means do so! I can send you the CV3 Logo art and a music cassette for the opening titles if it happens.

The trick is that i would like to get this program done asap and i know Nick's schedule is tight. If he can get the footage in a reasonable time and cut it togther then that is cool.

I would still like people who have footage to send it me regardless as i would like to see all the raw footage, and i know J has asked to see it as well. I can put the show togther very quickly once i have the footage.

Hey, maybe what we can do is BOTH do a CV3 program and put them both on the dvd? What do you think?

Whoever can get this program done the best and the quickest gets my vote. I think that having two different versions of it done might be overkill.

I should have some good footage of Donovan stealing the entire event so whoever does this needs to include plenty of video of that. Donovan man, you crack me the hell up - you totally stole the show man and I think everyone loved having you around for the weekend.

So I'll dub the raw footage I have to DVD and send it out to both of you guys I guess for the time being. I really do want to have this DVD out soon. Now that I got back into the groove of making these DVDs, this will be much easier. While doing the CV2 one recently I found some shortcuts that make the compiling and audio commentary so much easier to do.

To expidite this thing, Jenn - if you wanted to send me the video of J's message (with outtakes) now I can get started mastering it and get the ball rolling now.

Well I'm sure Mr. Hat wont fess up...

So to make a LONG story short..


Basically Mr. Hat almost caused a RIOT when he started eating on a Birthday cake. Did I mention this Birthday cake was for a Party that was going on! Did I mention that it hadn't even been cut yet! Mat wasn't thinking very straight. He almost caused a BIG Problem!@

Well, as his defense attorney, he wasn't "eating it". He just slid his finger along it to taste the icing. They weren't even using it because they brought their own cake. :rollin

However, I think Matt now knows what sheer terror is when a birthday mom yells "Did you see what he did!!!"

Menutia ran off saying "Okay, i'm leaving now..." suddenly when we had JUST finished snapping the photo of us all sitting on the Chuck's Stage in Richardson. He took off like a bolt from the blue and i was left wonderding what was happening!

All i could see was a smudged cake, and a family of disgruntled parents yelling..." did you SEEwhat he just DID?" very loudly at each other.

Matt must have crapped his pants right about then.


Yeah. it was great to finally see a 3-Stage CEC Show in the flesh, at a location. Sadly it is history come the end of August, which is a real shame, as the show was'nt too badly damaged and with a little work and some new parts could be made to look and operate like new. It's so depressing to see this type of show get run down and you stand there knowing it CAN be fixed but nobody gives a toss.

Darn shame really.

I'm still trippin' over the outside facade of the building! It was a retro Showbiz layout, but all repainted and Chuck-E-Fied of course.

Oh yeah, that....and the fact that Menutia is probably still scratching his head trying to figure out why someone driving in a Michigan van is charged MORE at the DFW Airport toll!
