Hey!
I just had a thought about something that happened to me when I was younger at Showbiz. Can someone confim to me if this was possible, or if this happened.
I am sure many of you know or remember that they could work Billy Bob live and have him talking to the audience and doing things on stage. Well, I remember once I went, and the center curtains opened, and they did the same thing with Fatz. The other characters were in resting position, but Fatz was just talking to people and interacting with people live. I can remember this very well for some reason, but I don't hear many stories about Fatz interacting live, just Billy. Did anyone else witness this, or am I just trippin???

Well, I never witnessed this but with Showbiz, anything's possible. It may have been in it's test phase, just like alot of things are tested at CEC today.

I remember when Billy Bob would come out and talk to the kids. Loony Bird however, stayed down in his can. I remember I used to talk to Billy Bob sometimes. I thought he was alive!

Unless ...well Some idiot at the resturant somehow hooked in those controller wires to the macs on Fatz..now that could have happened. Not suppose to...but could have.

Was Fatz talking at the Charlotte,North Carolina Showbiz?
When I did Billy Bob for the interactive system I would have Billy talk to Fatz,Rolfe and Earl,Dook and Looney Bird from behind the curtain.I can do pretty good impressions of them.
That was in the early 1980,s.

No, this was the Showbiz in Dallas Tx, next to Red Bird Mall... I think it's off Westmoreland. But not 100%. But yes, Fatz was just up on stage talking to people and interacting with other while the others on stage were in resting position. I remember it vividly.

It could be, they tested alot of stuff in the Dallas area. The training video for the interactive Billy Bob was filmed at the one on Monfort. ;)
