I have just completed a complete rebuild of the show for Rock-afire Pizza! They needed me to do this for the new owner of the restaurant who wanted the show in perfect condition. I must say that the 2 1/2 weeks that I spent 10 to 24 hour days working on this show resulted in an excellent show that I sincerely bless as the best show I have seen in many years. It still has a few tiny movements that I didn't get to fix, but, it takes a real Rock-afire expert to know what they are. If you go there now, you'll see Duke really playing the drums again. Fatz playing every note, Mitzi's dances perfect, Beach Bear playing every searing guitar solo and all mouths and facial expressions just like new.
Let's play a game. Try to find something wrong with the show. I think you'll be amazed that a show that didn;t work at all when I got there on June 6th could actually work so well again. When I got there, all the valves, hoses, cylinders and regulators were full of oil, water, sludge and dirt. Nothing moved at all and when you tried to run the show, the entire room was soon filled with a nasty haze of smoke and mist.
I enjoyed the project and am actually thankful that I didn't have anyone I could call on to do it for me this time. It was very rewarding to finally rebuild one of my own shows.
I took lots of video and will be posting it soon.

Definetely looking forward to the video as well.
I can't believe they let the show go that far in such a short amount of time.... then again they did have problems finding a reliable tech.
That sucks that they didn't make it though, I had high hopes that this store would have made it pretty good. Maybe the new owner has some plans that will make the store profitable. Starting with a good running show is the best place to begin though (in my opinion) so hopefully they'll have the insight to keep it up now that you've gotten it running.

I haven't forgotten my promise to post the videos. It will just take a little more time. I have a lot of catching up to do at the old homestead after being away for 3 weeks. I think the new owner is very serious about getting Rock-afire Pizza moving profitably. He has a lot more restaurant experience and doesn't take any delicious homemade waffles from his employees. So, that means a tighter ship.

Hey Aaron,
is the food menu offering any different then it was w/ the old owners? I remember from your first video you said the old owners were bragging to you about their chicken i think it was but by the time you had gotten there they had eaten all of it,(idiots!)

I am curious about something that is kind of off topic.... but Aaron, did you feel any of the earthquakes while you were here. If you were here for about 2 weeks that means you probobly felt both of them since you were right next door so to speak. Just wanted to know.....
New report on the Rock afire Pizza show. I got a phone call from a fan who was there today and was watching the show while on the phone with me. They said "It is much better than before... but if Aaron is saying this is one of the best shows out there. They must all be crap." Also told the owner before seeing the show that he could have it like new within 2 or 3 days and ended up almost being 3 weeks and she expected more. But of course he was comparing this to a late video of my show. But I guess that is to be expected. Aaron there is also no reason to have Dook hitting the drums unless it is old programming. The new programming does not match to the beat. Thanks for also saying I could not copy a Rock afire poster for myself...I guess thats what I get for asking. Should have done it my old way.

Snapper,
Please go away. No one needs your negativity and your third hand review from an anonamous caller. You are a small time thief who I will eventually sue to stop you from stealing my intellectual property. You lost it all my former friend. Your dishonesty cost you more than you will ever know. I post this for public consumption since you have posted your erroneous, hurtful, and distorted views in an effort to try and belittle my work. I hope that every time you turn your show on and hear my voice coming out, that you will not enjoy it and you will grow more weary of owning that show and will eventually sell or give it away so that the community who wants to enjoy the show can do so without listening to your lies. Good luck, and go away.

Aaron,
We here at Showbizpizza.com feel that the message boards here are a vehicle for free-speech, and to express the opinions of we, the fanbase, in an environment that is peaceful and safe to do so. Snap has as much a right to be here and to express his opinion as anyone.
However, you don't have the right to be causing drama on the board.
Please settle your issues through IM or the phone. Jasper, Veganova and I have a zero-tolerance policy for unnecessary drama/personal attacks.
Thanks.
The only one who lies is you. I have helped out this board more than you will know. You shouldnt have asked someone to post what was wrong with that show. I didnt point out everything I heard. I just summed it up. What lies have I told the fans? Not you Aaron..but the fans? You love to put on that P.T. Barnum face to the fans but not all of them know you on a personal level like I did. I see how you are different to the girls than the guys. And the guys you are nice to you are dangling carrots in there face. I will never go away from the Rock afire..I have spent every week in Showbiz as a child and the little time I spent at Creative I see what the Rock afire has become. The old crowd made that show what it was. You by yourself have ruined it. I was warned by people about you in the beginning. And I should have taken there advice. Everyone who gets close to you ends up like me. When the fans are around you day in and day out they will see the real Aaron. Especially the ones that have worked for you.

how ironic. i just commented on this location just now in my previous post.
i wish the owner much luck! i love rae and would love to see it be successful again! but that location has a long ways to go. its in the middle of nowhere. the stage is in slightly less than mediocre condition. dook hitting the drums off beat almost makes you want to leave the showroom and turns all songs into noise. the games were mostly out of order, over priced, and not really that desireable to play anyway. the pizza was mediocre and entirely overpriced, as was the whole menu. and i got bored after about 45 mins of being there. ...that says a lot considering i visit cec almost every day (twice each day for the past 5 consecutive days) and spend about 2 hours per visit and still have never gotten bored.
so as i say, good luck! i really do wish this location and cei much luck. i honestly would love to see rae become the success it once was!
When did you go Young Cali Hottie? Were the repairs to the stage made before or after you visited?

after. it was in september.
I just got back from a visit to Rockafire Pizza. Man is it a long drive. Anyway it was my second visit to the location. I originally went in December of last year. I could tell that work had been put into the show. There was still quite a bit wrong with it and I must say that I hate the Tivo system. Other than that it was cool to see the rockafire again.

yes! it is a wayyyy long drive! lol. was dook still making noise with his drums?
i dont like the tivo system either. or the new show material. i asked them when i was there if they had any old material. they played the bday song for me. it was the only old song they had.

Wow. Just wow. That's UNBELIEVEABLE. Also I remember seeing from a video posted on the boards about a year ago, they showed them setting up the restaurant, and Billy Bob had a spatula, or a block of wood or something jammed in his arm.

Hey guys, why don't a few of us, who can, meet up at RAPizza on a weekend for a few hours. I know there are about 4 or 5 of us in the area that can get down there and hang out.
Just an idea if you guys, who can, would be interested.
Let me know guys!

Cool!
I was thinking the 19th. 2 weeks from tomorrow. It's the weekend before Thanksgiving, so if that isn't good we can plan for another time. But that is going to be good for me on that day.
So is Nov 19th, Saturday cool???

... where to start... check with your publicist? If you aren't just posting flamebait at this point, I have to think you are legally insane. This will be my last post on the subject, as I must now just ignore anything you post.
