Halloween

I am pretty sure that the answer is no but does anyone remember CEC or Showbiz ever having a Halloween show? Or at least the stage and or characters being decoated with a Halloween theme?

actually there WAS a halloween show in the days of PTT. I saw the conversion manual somewhere.

Hey Mix...nice to see you back!

Yes, there WAS a officially produced PTT era Halloween show in 1985. All the characters were dressed in specially made costumes that were sent to all locations from the Company ( PTT Inc.) The stage also had a specially produced backdrop and showreel. It was very cool...Chuck was dressed as a vampire ( pretty scary for thr time actually!) Classic Helen was a traditional witch, and the others were dressed as a scarecrow, jailmate, and another one that escapes my memory at the moment. It was one of the last great "themed" shows before the Stages were changed over to the Porch/Rocker Stages in the mid 80's.

There is a awesome informative Manual that exsists that has complete coverage of how to install this special Halloween Show...everything from how to dress the characters in their new costumes to how to put up the graphics in the background. It also shows what the Balcony Stage looked like ( in drawing diagrams...not photos) plus a nice recreation of the background art. The cover of the this rare item has a way spooky picture of Count Chuckula in full glory which is pretty neat.

Pasqually was an inmate, Jasper I think was the scarecrow and I can't recall what Munch was. I didn't see it but I have seen pics somewhere but it was a long time ago and I don't recall where I saw them.

I have seen the manual and can now confirm the character costumes.

Here goes:

Helen- witch holding a skull staff

Jasper- Jail inmate complete with ball hanging from his banjo!

Chuck- Count Chuckula, complete with real fangs ( really creepy)

Pasqually- A Pirate complete with eypatch ( talk about creepy! yikes!)

Munch- Native American chief. Very cool looking too!


A interesting side note is in the manual it states that the wand Count Chuckula holds is to be resused from the "Back to School" show. Apparently in September 85' PTT ran a themed show related to this topic! I did'nt know that!
