I don't know really. But if you ask me I'd say it looks just like the Rock-afire Explosion, only with different cosmetics.

They are the RAE underneath the costmetics. The only place I know for a fact that still has the MoonRockers would be CEI.

I asked about this one time. First off there was only one prototype made and it only used the center stage. Yes, those robots are Fatz, Mitzi, Dook and Beach Bear under the alien cosmetics. This retrofit was advertised in an "overstock brochure" CEI did when Showbiz went south and wasn't buying anymore shows and the Rock-afire became available for the first time to clients other than Showbiz. No one ordered a Moon Rockers retrofit so Billy Bob, Looneybird and R&E were never developed further nor was the concept. The only existing Moon Rockers is in CEI. The Moon Rockers can perform all the center stage material and the center stage could also run the Moon Rocker reels.

No only one was made and it is at CEI. It was never purchased by a company to use.

Probably just one since the concept never got developed any further than the center stage prototype. Why make a bunch of show material if you don't know if the concept is going to catch on? In this case, it didn't.

I LOVE the MoonRockers!! I think they are so darn cool, and it's a shame they are just sitting there at CEI.

I have often wondered how many shows were made for them, and my guess would be probably only the one song they did in the CEI Promo vid back in there day (" We're the MoonRockers").

Does anyone know their names? During the song two of them mention them, but it's hard to catch.

I really dig the little lava moon dude who fills in for Choo Choo. When i was recently at CEI working on the Hannah shows i was able to check them out a bit more closely. The cosmetics on these guys are so freaky and neat!

I LOVE the MoonRockers...and someday maybe Aaron will get them running again. Man that would be awesome!!

The MoonRockers were definitely one of the coolest things I saw at CEI. On my trip video, Aaron plays some promo material of them performing, but he mentioned that that's the only time they performed, and the original reel was erased somehow, which is a real shame. Actually, I think the girl is a princess, but I'd have to watch the video and see if I can catch the names. (The things I do for fans!) :D

Yes, she is "Princess...something or other!"

I do remember her stating she was a Princess....now i will have to re-watch my promo vid too!

Wow, that is interesting to hear confirmation about the original Moonrockers show(s) reel being erased. Man that is a shame, as i was so hoping they had more shows!

Man, do I love the MoonRockers! :alien: I have a few questions about them - who voiced the characters? What were their names, has anybody asked Aaron? Could someone put the MoonRockers promo video on You Tube?

What were their personalities and what did they sound like? Were the Sun and the Moon used in the MoonRockers, it seems like they would be used there. Once I did a drawing of the Moon Rockers..........Clarke

I am guessing the voicework for the MoonRockers was done by the folks working at CEI. Some may have been RAE voices...who knows for sure really besides Air.

Sun and Moon were not used, but i think they may have been planning on still using the mechs for them but with different space-themed characters instead. I mean, you can't really use Moon when they are supposed to be ON the moon right? lol....

In the CEI Promo vid that shows the show in action, The guitar playing alien and "Princess.." both sing about themselves. The guitar alien ( ala Beach Bear) is a crazy guy who loves to eat lizards. He crosses his eyes a lot, just as Beach Bear would while singing.

"Princess.." goes on to sing about how she has such a beautiful singing voice "..it echos across the galaxy..". She then sings a few operactic bars. The Organ playing alien, as well as the reptillian drummer dude are not shown explaining themselves.

They are so darn cool!!!
