Calling on Stage dimensions again...

I know this has been posted before but for a lack of me ever remembering, again I have come to the point where I was wondering the exact build dimensions of the main stage. I know approximations 20' wide etc... But does anyone out there have the dimensions exact, exact curve radius on the edges? Was there even a standard? What is the depth of the main stage?

depth from front to back on center is 9 ft.

I thought someone mentioned a long time ago that there weren't exact dimensions. I know that all the stages are not exactly the same size. Some are more roomier than others it seems. The Blue Show manual probably has the recommended dimensions.

Yeah must not be any standard, I guess I was just hoping someone had a document of stage size even with character x,y coordinates for placement... Guess the best bet then is to build a 20 wide or so and place fatz at the center and work from there.....?

At my location the RAE characters were very close together. Mitzi always rubbed Beach Bear's left leg (hmm..) and Beach Bear should be able to tap Fatz on the left shoulder.

I will look for the dimensions in the Blue Show manual this weekend.

There were standards for the dimentions. Let me look them up and see if I have something that may be useful to you. I'm sure that most stores have individual measurements because of space restrictions for particular buildings and such, but there was a 'standard' at one point in time.

I know for fact that they had pretty tight guidelines for where to place the characters so they didn't knock into one another and also the angle and placement of the treelines in respect to the back wall, centerline, etc. There's probably a standard arch for the curvature of the stages as well.

well actually there were two sizes. I know my center stage was 19 ft by 7 ft. They were all set up almost exact. Instead of fatz's organ sitting 2 ft back from the front. I had it about 4 inches ..if that.. from the front. So they were in correct places. The front of my stage was just shortened because there was a space there anyway.
