Great website, especially the Sarcos stuff. If anybody out here on the West Coast wants to see Honda's "Asimo" robot in person, there are daily shows going on at Disneyland.

OMG!!!! NOT ASIMO!!!
I sware, Asimo is going to take over the world. The show he puts on at Disneyland is really creepy. I like it a lot!!! but, it seems like he is going to take over the world with all his REALISTIC movements (i.e. climbing stairs and playing soccer) thats really creepy, but dont get me wrong, Honda did one amazing discover with this one of a kind robot!

If you think Asimo is creepy you should see its predecessor, "P2." That thing is 6 feet tall and weighs 463 pounds, and has claw type "grapplers" for hands. You'd better hope it doesn't lose its balance, because if it were to fall, it would most likely damage itself and anyone who happened to be in the way. Honda was wise to go with the far less imposing Asimo.
