Do you think "Superman Returns", the first Superman movie since 1987's "Superman 4: The Quest For Peace" (the last Superman movie the late Christopher Reeve starred in) will be a big mid-summer 2006 box office smash?

I'm probably one of the World's biggest Superman fans
I have an autographed comic book, and all kinds of things like that. I've even been to Metropolis Illinios. I went to see "Superman Returns" and was VERY dissapointed in the storyline. The film would have been a lot better if they hadn't shown Superman and Lois having an ill-legitimate child together out of wedlock. THEY WERE NOT MARRIED in this film and never had been. Plus.. the kid has powers.. oh geeze.. really.... Anyway.... SUperman is supposed to stand for high morals and now he's being depicted as a single Dad who is never there; letting another man (Richard White.. Perry's nephew) raise his son. Superman having a child out of wedlock from a fun night with Lois.... what is the World coming to? What kind of example does that set for all of the children who go to see the film???? Sure.... you could probably get away with that storyline in a comic book.... but when you're dealing with a film.. you have to deal with the fact that children will be going to see it.

As far as the sex scene in Superman 2 is concerened.... Margot Kidder, Richard Donner, Richard Lester, and several other people all agree now that they should have never done that sex scene in 2 because Lois having a sleepover with SUperman just wasn't right! So; I rest my case on that thought.

I saw "Superman Returns" at a local movie theatre today, in the end credits it mentions the movie is dedicated in memory to Christopher Reeve (the original Superman portrayer in the 1978-1987 Superman movies) and Dana Reeve (Christopher Reeve's wife).
