I think the majority of it is in like, Italian or something, no? All I can really understand is "Hey, it's a Tuba Solooooo!"

The boar's head in hand bear I,
Bedeck'd with bays and rosemary
And I pray you, my masters, be merry
Quot estis in convivio
Caput apri defero
Reddens laudes Domino
The boar's head, as I understand
Is the rarest dish in all the land
Which thus bedeck'd with a gay garland
Let us servire cantico
Caput apri defero
Reddens laudes Domino
Our steward hath provided this
In honour of the King of Bliss
Which on this day to be served is
In Reginensi atrio
Caput apri defero
Reddens laudes Domino

Caput apri defero [I bring in the boar's head]
Reddens laudes Domino [Giving thanks to the lord]
The boar's head in hand bear I,
Bedecked with bays and rosemary;
And I pray you masters merry be,
Quot estis in convivio [as many as are at the feast].
Caput apri defero
Reddens laudes Domino
The boar's head, I understand
The finest dish in all the land,
Which is thus bedecked with gay garland,
Let us servire cantico [serve it with a song].
Caput apri defero
Reddens laudes Domino
The boar's head in hand bear I.
Bedecked with bays and rosemary;
And I pray you masters merry be,
Quot estis in convivio [as many as are at the feast].
Caput apri defero
Reddens laudes Domino

I heard this song at CEC and was confused with the Itailan in it. I believe I mentioned this song in a post awhile back...great song though!

thanks for the lyrics! i havent been on the boards in a few days, and i was just about to request them! this freakin song was driving me nuts! lol... the latin was really confusing me. i thought it was in a different language, then i would hear random english. so i figured i just wasnt understanding him.
i think this song is very random and doen't really belong. i mean, it starts in the middle of an intermission... and then what...? ...the intermission just continues for a few more mins. is it even techinically a "show"? i dont think so. and no dialog is exchanged. pasqually just randomly starts singing what is probably just random nonsense to kids, and then its suddenly over. lol.
on the 2 stage, why does chuck just look dead and not have any lights on during this song? he is looking left kinda, but his head is down and he doesnt even move.
would his curtain even open for this "performance" on a 3 stage? (before eprom)
the studio c version is interesting. pasqually flapped his arms so much i was waiting for him to fly away at any moment :b :lol

I like that, it twists around with the show and makes it more interesting to the intermissions. And yes, those are known as intermission songs, not part as the line-up.
I don't know if you like CEC back 2 years ago YCH, but Dept. 18 did this during the April 2003 show, for Pasquallys "Itailan Street Song" and Munch's "I love a piano."

its a nice concept. but the execution of it just seems awkward. it starts suddenly and out of nowhere. theres no dialogue. (all it really would have taken is something like pasqually saying "heres-a one of my favorites")
and whats wrong with chuck during this song on the 2stage? what does he do on a 3stage?

This is definiately a good 3-stage Intermission. On the 3-stage only Pasqually's curtain is open. The other characters are moving behind the curtain, but that's only because the 3-stage code is used for all stages (except Studio C), so they programmed just minimum movements for them.
This is the same as the live shows - Chuck E has minimal programming for those stages that just have one big curtain or porch's with no curtains.
There was another intermission like this - Mr. Munch sang his "I love Piano" song in the middle of an intermission - remember the showtape with the professor where they went through time. The center stage was the only curtain open - Chuck and Pasqually were closed (but minimally animated for other stages).
This mini show during intermission was something they were playing with a few years ago (remember this is the 4th year for this Holiday show - though the intermissions were slightly updated in 2004), there will be a new one next year, right?
