I love the fact that they now call it "tradition" that we use the same holiday show...lol...it think it's going on four years of usage...we've had that happy holidays guy since 2002 ha

The GM and I were crying about the retarded
"Happy Holidays" song. Especially when he
starts with the whole hockey part.... lol
I think I'd rather here Boar's Head Carol.

Yeah...they are STILL playing the same show they were when i left 4 years ago!

There's something seriously wrong with that !

When the "current" Holiday Show came out in 02' i remember in the newsletter at the time that came with it that this show would be used for the next 5/6 years.

Personally i liked the previous Holiday Show much better...CEC's Holiday Party from 1999/00/02 was very well done. Far better then what came later. It's too bad that "Holiday Party" did'nt get to be played as long as the latter was...

(sigh)

Don't get me wrong ...i LIKE some songs in the 'current" Holiday Show. Helen's "The Bells on X-mas Day" and the final meledy are the highlights. Jasper's "Up on the Housetop" rocks too for what it is...so it's not all THAT bad. Having said that, it's also very dissapointing to have the same show play for 4/5 years straight, a show not nearly as well done as the Holiday Party in 99'. I know, i know..."budget budget budget..."

But hey, on a positive note, i think of it in this light: At least we now get one more chance to see Mix's fab animation and lighting effects onstage!! Yay!! And how about that great cameo in Eddie's "Happy Holidays"??

Gems hidden within the coal folks.....be merry! :D

There were some songs on the holiday party 99-01 show that i liked. like the hawaii song, helen's white christmas song. and the we wish you a merry christmas meledy. but my all time favorite holiday shows would have to be the 92-93-94. And what's current.

Damn wish sometimes we still had the VCR on our Cyberstar, if I was working there and happan to have a spare Holday 93' master at the store with me I'd pop it in for a weekend for old times sake. I remember seeing Holiday 93 once when I was I think 5 years old on the Burlington stage, yeah when everything was all decorated, I just remember the show looking decked out and the place really brought the holiday spirit, today seems like a normal trip to CEC in the month of December.:(

Yeah that's one of the draw backs with dvd sytems. Can't reuse old tapes anymore. and even if our store still had vhs hook up the chip wouldn't read the code number on the tape anymore anyway.:(

3066's "Chuck E. Cheese Show" light kept blinking on & off in time to the the music. apparently it's been happening ever since the switch to DVD.

If it is a CEC stage I bet you the problem is within the cyberstar computer. There is an internal setting on CEC stages that the computer needs to have in order for the lights to work correctly. Call Tech support for help and explain the problem and they should be able to help you with a simple setting change that affects the lighting. The computer probably just got set to the wrong setting when the DVD eprom was installed.

hmmm...Well if it is a 3 stage things probably got plugged in or rewired wrong over the years.

Yeah, that can happen more often then you would think. Many locations have the lights hooked up wrong...

Only 'freaks" like us seem to notice though! Ha ha!! :lol

That should not happen on a 3-stage. I have encountered a few locations with that spot plugged into the wrong outlet (i.e. plugged into Helicopter light). Or the "Chuck E Cheese Show" spot is so out-of-focus and has been for so long that they didn't even know they had one!
