One of these days i would really enjoy hearing your story Mix....how you started at this store and worked your way to Dept. 18 and becoming involved in the shows!
Now that would be a treat to hear....:D

I actually know some of it but i'm sure you'd like to hear about it directly from him. I will tell ya this though, when he worked at HQ he didn't start right away in Dept 18.

Oh wait.....yes i do know the story now.
What i would like to hear though is how he went from the store to HQ...was it offered to him, or did he go for it on his own?
Yeah, his story is nice...and pretty inspiring for the multitudes of fans out there who would love to follow in his footsteps someday right to the door of Dept. 18.

I'd love to think that also Jenn!:D
As long as I can remember I have been a fan of CEC and Showbiz. When I was 16, I got a job at my local CEC in Arlington, TX. I worked in the game room and soon became cross trained in all areas. From that store I transferred to the North Richland Hills, TX location, where I became the assistant tech. But I new I really wanted to work for the Entertainment dept, so one day I drove to corporate and put in an application for the Entertainment Dept. Charlotte the friendly receptionist told me that the birthday reservation center was also hiring, so I wrote on my application that if there were no openings in Entertainment then I would be open to a call center job. So, needless-to-say, I got a job in the call center and on my breaks poked my nose into the Entertainment Dept and got to know all the guys that worked there. Because I expressed so much interest in what they were doing, while at the same time not being a pest, they began using me on side projects, Production Assistant on set to costume character work in the videos, and then eventually helping out with show programming. After about a year of that, Bryan and Brent happened to be leaving the dept at the same time. I was just in the right place at the right time. Jeremy offered me the job and the rest is history. Nowadays I am out in sunny southern California attempting to act and work in video and film production. I also work at Disneyland as a puppeteer and as the "Aladdin" face character. I miss CEC very much, and haven't ruled out going back one day, if they would even have me back. I still have a great love for the concept. Who knows? We'll see. But I still do freelance stuff for them every once and a while. When I went home for Christmas, I helped pack up the Jan show, and most recently I got to write the script for the April show. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;)
