The 3 stage CEC is 6 feet tall. They all vary in height. The 2 stage bots are all about 5 feet tall.

Plus you gotta remember Danny CEC loves to waste money. Also that would look kinda dumb...all these newer lighting effects, new stage and flat screens everywhere and this clunky old beat up Chuck...hmm I don't think so. |I

The 1977-1980's CEC robots were half sized, while ones from the Rocker stage to Munch Band and Studio C were full sized characters.

Road Stage Munch Band characters were full size Chuck E. with the others - Helen, Jasper, Munch, and Pasqually - half size robots.

also, btw, the road stages were built in the 1990s. (someone mentioned half bots only between 1970-1980s)

The "Road Stage" is nothing more then a uniquely styled stage very much like the Classic Balcony show. They both use the same Bots' ( Cyberamic models) but retain the "half bodied" look by not having the later added feet and legs.

Basically, the Road Stage looks as if the characters are cut off at the waist and propped up on colorful boxes...seriously! I've seen one in the flesh it it was something very unusual. I beleive these are some of the rarest stage versions. Only a few locations have this setup. Chuck E. is the only figure fully shown with legs...off to the side like he is on most 2 stages. The others are only shown from the waist up.

All the Bots' are the same models used on all other CyberStages. There is no difference in that regard.

if my mewmory is correct I THINK once CU came into play the Road stage was the first non-3 stage version of MMBB ffollowed by the 2 stage then the 1 stage.

That is true...during CU...You had the option to change your PTT stores to have the MMB with or without legs. The difference was Helen, Munch, Jasper and Pasq. Were sitting in a bandstand type box and their box below them lit up. Also, new stores at the time had their option. CEC was not as strong then and was still franchising. This stage did not originally have curtains just random movements. I have included a pic (from how to decorate your Christmas stage)

So um...getting back to the original question....Yes, CEC Stage bots ARE Taller than the Studio C animatronics. I measured our new Studio C Chuck, and from toe to ear he is 6 feet tall...our old 1-stage Chuck was roughly 6' 4" from toe to ear. From what I've seen on 3 stage characters, they appear to be roughly around the 6 foot height as well. So basically, the Garner Holt Studio C Chucks are the smallest (and skinniest) bots.

I think the road stages looked kind of half-assed...If they were gonna go through the trouble and waste of money to do the remodel, why not give all 5 characters legs? Plus the half-body porch stage looked better if they were gonna stick to a show that had mostly half-bodies. The now closed Walzem Rd location was the first to become MMBB here in San Antonio in '92 and they looked great even without curtains, cause they had legs. :lol ;)
