I hope it's a show without originals again...I like this show alot it's been a while that I've really enjoyed a show and could stand to see it over and over. I've been going to CEC alot lately and still haven't grown tired of it! :)

Wow....is it me or is the selection of music becoming more "grown up" then previous shows?

I am liking this lineup.....and knowing that Mix handled the dialog script makes me lift an eyebrow in anticipation. It's been a LONG time since i've gotten excited about a show....but reading Mix's post above gives me that old buzz back!

Now at last maybe we will have the characters say some interesting things....word play, interaction...fun!

No more Munch and his "pizza breaks"...sigh! :lol

Well I hope you are not dissapointed. I tried to change it up a little bit. I think I was trying to make it too different at first because it got sent back to me a couple of times with the instructions to rein it in a tad. Which is fine, I actually think it ended up better than what I started with. I think I did put something in there about Munch being hungry, sorry Jen. Oh well, it's kinda hard to avoid. We'll just wait and see what you guys think in April.

awesome news about the April 2006 show! i wish they would use more special effects with the 3 stage. more stobing of the munch sign and his piano also have the helicopter work more than just at the end of the show like in previous shows. cant wait to see it. thanks mix!!! :D :D

There is lots of strobing on the organ and sign in the current show. Lots of "single strobe", but quite a few "continuous strobe" effects in the shows too.

I enjoy the shows that feature 60's/70's oldies. I'm curious to see what the video footage will be like for some of these soundtrack choices.

i love hearing the dialog. cuz when im in chucke i look at the screen and talk to(or pretend) talk to the screen like if chuck es actually talking to the other charaters so i enjoy alot cof dialog befor or even after the sho or even in between

*The new live show is a remake of CEC Shuffle!!!

*The September '06 Show will be a "Best Of" Generic. Department 18 will be working on a new Summer Show during this time, to debute in 2007.

While I'm not looking forward to another year of the Summer '03 Show, I am excited to see which songs and intermissions go into the new Best Of show (in fact, I'm going to start a new thread about it...)

I think you guys will really like the April Show. There is heavy character dialogue during the segments and there is some cool new videos. I'm a sucker for oldies, so I really enjoy the soundtrack as well.

I'm glad to see that there's finally a new generic live show out. I always liked Shuffle, and this version is an improvement.

new summer for 2007 great! hey too bad dept. 18 don't have a contest this summer call it the chuck e cheese summer idol. have locations send in cast member videos singing the summer skits.then judge them and win a prize of $25.00 or something!!!! i bet you i can name 3-5 people around my area that would win. they know the words by heart. :D

I have to admit this show isn't as bad as I thought it would be, some of the songs were pretty sweet, though I prefered January a little better, this one does have a pretty good soundtrack.:)

Actually I'm going to change my opinion on the April show a little, I still thought it was sweet but this show IMO sort of felt like one of those weird productions right in front of you, and it creeped me out in a way as well, it reminds me a little of 1970s sex cartoon movies or some retro 70s disco/techno type music. The footage was really weird too not to mention, I felt like most of the video was shot in the dark or some dancefloor, agian creeped out.

Oh and the intermissions, god I don't know what to say really, why use those Summer countdowns when you are going to see them soon agian this summer? This show felt a bit different in some weird way.

oh there was a couple funny moments, like when Jasper talking about how he "pretends" to joke around with the band.

Oh and Pasqually, god when was the last time he told jokes?

Man i saw the new april show on Saturday as i had the honor of switching the shows in the morning. this show is freaking AWSOME!!!!! i love the dialog real winner. footage was great and the lighting whoa dont geet me started lol Mike, Rob and Ryan GREAT JOB guys this one i feel is indeed likw the last CEC promotion its a WINNER:p :p :p .
