Open Invitation to Mix to attend CheeseVention 3 in TX!

Yep...you heard it right.....

What better way to get the word out then right here on ShowbizPizza.Com!

Mix, if you are reading this we would like to personally invite you to attend CheeseVention 3, the well known CEC/RAE "Unofficial" Fan Convention! This year it is being held right in Irving Tx, at CECE's doorstep practically, so if by slim chance you happen to be in the area we would LOVE to have you join us for a whoppin' good time! Many of the fans you know who post on here will be in attendence, along with some new faces i'm sure.

We all meet up at the Irving CEC Store on Friday, July 21st. Anyone you know is also welcome....that goes for Ryan, Jer, and anybody else who would be interested in stopping by. We will be having some awesome events happening afterwards and it's definately a not miss if you are in the area!

After we have Lunch at the Store, we are off to visit a private location and witness some fabulous animatronic wonders including a operational Rock-aFire Explosion show and a PTT era Cyberamic Balcony Show set up as well! NOT TO BE MISSED stuff!!! Read more in the "Special Events" section here on the Board.

Ok...Why would he come? If he does come, why would this be a problem? We aren't doing anything illegal. I mean we probably will late at night but I have a good plan and we won't get caught. Ah well...glad to have you catch the info now instead on the end of July when CheeseVention 3 is OVER! Read ALL the info in the "Special Events" section here on the Board or on the CV3 Website ( link is on Home Page here...)

Date is Friday July 21st. We will also meet up on Saturday the 22nd and also Sunday for breakfast. No fees, but we do ask that if you DO decide to come to "register" by sending a e-mail to cheesevention@yahoo.com.

Yeah Jenn, I think you need a new producer this time...namely me, cause it'll be CV5 before Richard gets the CV2 DVD together :rolleyes I have all the time in the world and can spend all day working on just that. ;)

I was referring to the forthcoming dvd release of THIS YEARS Event though...not CV2!

As far as that dvd goes..(CV2) it is NOT Richard who is "holding things up". He was done in October! Yes, the CV2 Event dvd program was COMPLETED in October of last year. I felt a need to clarify that, as i don't want anyone to think that it is Richard who is the reason that this dvd release has been held up. His role was completed ages ago and he has been waiting like the rest of us to see it finally released!

The dvd is ready, but there has been some delay in getting it polished audio-commentarty wise ( the original recording used was too low) and duplication issues on Vega's end ( technical issues with his burner).

The latest word is that the CV2 Event dvd will be availble BEFORE Cv3. I have no control over it's release, as the Master Tapes were sent off ages ago!

Trust me though...it will be worth the wait. Richard did a awesome job compiling all the footage of last years Convention and the bonus features are fab. I'm sure Vega will let us all know when it's near release.

Sounds like a good time. At this point it does not look as though I will be able to attend. As some of you may know I am very busy this summer working at Disneyland in Anaheim California, portraying a certain pirate. I wish a CV would have been held in TX back when I lived there, oh well that's just the way things go I guess. So to all who will be attending, I send my best. Be ready to sweat because there are few hotter places, I mean temperature, than Dallas TX in July, you won't need to bring a jacket.

There is talk afoot of having NEXT years CheeseVention in San Hose' CA in honor of the concpets' 30th Anniversary. Perhaps then, finally, you will be able to join in!

So that's you Matt that I've been hearing about. How funny, such a small world. I've been hearing great things about both Captain Jack FCs out in Anaheim. The ones out at the MK are doing great too, but as you prob know there's always this entertainment department rivalry between the two American parks over which one has the better FC actors.

Keep up the good work though. Maybe I'll get a chance to check you out when I'm out in Burbank/Anaheim later this summer.

I was looking at one of friends MySpace page, and right on the top of his page was this pic, and I was like, WOW, Captain Jack is known!!!! I go to DL all the time and have yet to see him. I guess I don't look hard enough.
