Yep, for the most part it is incorrect. Remember kid, the summer of fun promo has been buried and more than likely never to suface agian, unless the powers that be decide for whatever reason to revive it.

Thanks cec080, I didnt realize that was changed until you pointed it out. I didnt expect that. As far as the summer show is concerned all of the need promos have already been added as of last week, so it's too late to make any changes since it's already been finalized. :D

I wish the earlier Summer Show from 2000 was generic...I could listen to that show for 4 years with no problem!

Hmmm...

Was'nt the 2001 Summer edition basically the same show? That one was generic..along with the 2002 i think. I could be wrong though, but we used to play those all the time in Danvers long afterwards since they were "generics"

They were great, and helped keep the show fresh back in the day....

Yeah that's true the 2002 version was the same as 00 and 01 but had an extra skit so...that would be a better summer show to watch over and over.

old summertime show. yep i totally agree they should use it again. i was watching the '00 version with the online reservation skit. problem though those people featured in the show probably no longer work for cec. unless cec legal had them sign that said once you appear in a video your cec property or something of that nature. !!!!!!!!!

We played the summer show yesterday, and a couple of the live shows are off on the DVD 2/3 stage shows.
If you're happy and you know it plays Shuffle. And something else happens when you play another Live Show, I forgot which one it was. Anyone else having this problem?
Does anyone know the track # for If You're Happy And You Know It? I couldn't find it after skipping through the tracks.

Na, Cec80 is right, there is no America Skit, a week ago or so I talked to Mike about what is in the new summer show, he said there is two intermission segments added and no America Skit.
My store hasn't received the show yet...so I haven't seen it yet..
Man, I can't believe most of you hate the Summer 03 - Summer 06 show...sure its playied 4 years, but it has some catchy songs. And were getting a new summer show next year, so be greatful for what we have now...
To me, the summer 06 show is still worth a thumbs up!

Yep CEC3066 Novi MI. #331 STUDIO C BETA. Is it a different line up than the previous versions. because after Baseball Diamond Dreams and Dog Jammin it went back to the Opening skit/ Summertime groove. ? I'm confused... could they have done something wrong when they programmed it in? All I know is there was no America skit. nor the tribute to the soilders.
Puppetmaster29 can you shed some light on this. I'll ask my dad at his location when he gets home today. they always do showroom on Monday's.

:D Also Dept 18 i may have been to harsh but we in America are proud of our freedom and that skit was a show stopper!

No international or USA verison summer shows were sent out this time. All locations got the SAME version summer show this year. We took out the troops montage and the America segment. Due to the controversy it caused last year, mainly the troops montage and well... I'm going to leave it at that.

The troops part of the show was awesome! Some people!
Well, I can really stand the Summer Show too much, BUT, I do love In My Pool! That is the song right there! I played that like 8 times in a row on Saturday back to back to back. It was hilarious when everyone in the showroom started singing along. LOL
HEY, did anyone else notice on the 2 or 3 staged DVD's that Happy And You Know It doesn't play that song. It plays the shuffle I think. Along with some other Live Show that isn't right. Is this just our store or anyone else's besides Studio C and has the DVD player?

And, do any of you guys think that the Summertime Grove song in the chorus sounds like Justin Timberlakes Rock Your Body? Try it!

(SIGH) Yes, folks, all the controversy in this company has to come from MY store. Mike will leave it, but I will explain, for I am anonymous.

A woman came into the store for an organizational function, and had some sort of political stature, I think she was campaigning for borough president, or something to that effect. Anyhow, she took exception to the footage of soldiers handing out candy to children saying that it glorifies war and the killing of innocent people. This, of course, is morally outrageous to be shown to impressionable little kids. We gave her the number to the support center and thought that would be the end of it.

A couple weeks later a picket line formed outside our store, boycotting Chuck E. Cheese because of troops footage! They were even handing out fliers showing a rat with bayonet and combat gear holding out a piece of candy. They were directly outside the store until we got the police to get them off mall property. This protest continued outside the mall at arbitrary times, and the funny thing is that they did this into October! I wanted to walk over and say "Uh, you guys know that that stuff hasn't been in the show since labor day...?" I was also compelled to make some contrary signs to their protest, like "Target sells GI Joes!" but never did such.

So, presumablty, this whole fiasco has a lot to do with the loss of the America skit this year.

I installed the show yesterday, I enjoyied it! I miss good ole' Picnic and BBQ segment.
The only thing I have to say is, MIKE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I say that because the same April 04 break music is on the discs and the April 05 logo is on it too, again.

Mike put some new break in the new shows, like bring back the 02 versions of break, or put in like instrumental of orginal songs for it....something new plz.....:smokin

I have to say that with our three stage show Micheal. Considering that this i think is the version of the same summer show. but minus the 4th segment. It really isn't all that bad. I thought maybe the 4th segment from summer 02 I believe that is has Don't hurry to worry & also row row row your boat song on there was gonna get reused again.:) I like the newest clips too.

Since some of you posted that you were having trouble with your DVD playing the wrong live show, I tested mine with all live shows and it is working fine. 3-Stage Summer DVD. And I'm glad the "Swing" is back!

Here is a video of our show. This is my first attempt to capture with a digital video camera. I did it in 16:9 aspect ratio and had to convert it to DivX to fit on YouTube. It lost a lot of quality after posting to YouTube.

Noslugsback: give it some time and yes it will look just as good. When i was there last it looked really good. It took Dearborn most of the summer one year to really work on there show. Just keep up the good work! i have'nt seen that show look that good in years!!! and yes i really mean it!!!! i've noticed a lot of changes in the existing stages since the conversion. :D :D

Chuck has the correct fur that shipped with his new "C" shirt and shorts a few years ago.

His hands are another story. The hands that corporate sends are cheap materials and very bad design that breaks constantly and they are very expensive (big and hollow thin plastic). So one of the previous techs used some non-robotic hands. Can you guess what kind.. hahaha. Haven't had a problem since then! The rubber/latex hands were much better except for the paint peeling off. But none of the characers get those kinds of hands anymore :-(

Cool RodHouTx! And as for guessing on what type of none robotic hands are used for cec just for now. I have no idea. But I do also miss the old rubber hands for all the three stage CEC characters. Granted yes the paint would always peel off of them. But in no time they would look good as new. Same for the rubber sneakers also.:D I wonder if corporate ever thought of making cloth sneakers for the three stage bots!? Or another alternative would be is to make Munch feet. That would be something different to see.:D

Hey, you remember the rubber sneakers! Unlike the very flimsy plastic we get now. I still have the original rubber feet on Munch since few people can reach those. Actually, Chuck's new feet are pretty cool too. Jasper's are the worse.. so very thin and fragile.

I sure do remember the old rubber three stage sneakers for the cec characters RodHouTx.

i loved the older hands for helen and munch cause they really kept there shape. even though at times they did need maybe some repair done with them. paint or tear wise. but with ours most likely paint wise. I would of loved to paint an old set of those helen hands. this way since there now cloth there like always bend out of shape. same applies to Mr. Munch. oh speaking of flimsy/plastic sneakers. our tech had to disconnect our mr munch right foot tap. cause his sneaker was really cracking on the bottom left side.:( on a side note people really love to mess around with there shoe laces. and yes chuck's feet are cool. I always remember how our old rubber chuck's feet were always skrunchied up in his plateform. OUCH!!!!!!

My show has rubber sneakers for Munch and Pasqually. When we redid our cosmetics, they only sent me Munch's right shoe (the plastic kind). That and his baseball cap are sitting in my tech room until I figure out what do to with them.
My Pasqually doesn't have the mechanism for the high-hat cymbal, but since both his feet are hidden, we decided to keep the rubber shoes.

Nice work, CEC Tecman! Mine's almost there; I hit a snag when my air dryer crapped out. I was rebuilding wet MAC valves and draining water out my oilers for two weeks, which put me behind on fine tunig the movements and lights.

Man...are you putting your own money into the show? What's up with the custom costumes? You make em or have someone do it? Looks great...just REALLY curious about the maintenance money and the custom threads...:eek :eek also How have the kids not trahsed your stage by now? I mean I protected ours when i was there but wasn't 24 hours...
