Yep this was the turning point where it got bad for Showbiz and Rock-afire fans and got better for CEC fans...8o At least it did for me...IDK about other CEC fans but I liked the fact that I could now go see Chuck in this better looking format.

I enjoy the fact that I can always walk in and still see our three stage robotic Chuck E. Cheese, along with the rest of the crew.:D

What I wonder if is kids who can read looked at the wink during the Rolfe and Earl show and knew from the start. I mean, it was obvious. OR, they could just look under the curtains on, like, the final night and see a purple thing or some guy with a speaker;.

That pic of them smashing the sign is horrifying. They should atleast do it with dignity and not jokingly toy with it. Also, I do wonder if kids would peek under the Center and Billy curtains to find the MMBB stages instead of the Rock-afire but still with Rolfe & Earl.

Yeah, those lines in the CU video such as "make sure to destroy these items as they will not be used again" used to really piss me off. Talk about a slap in the face to RAE fans. But really I think the destruction of those parts was more due to the request of CEI and not ShowBiz. I seem to recall a letter from CEI asking to make sure that any copyrighted items not get into the hands of the wrong people, which I'm sure is why they were ordered to be destroyed.

Also I'm sure that kids witnessed the construction. There's a few lines in that horrid "Rolfe and Earle" showtape (see the SPP cyberstar section in our Video Archive) where they say you might hear construction on the other stages or see people walking in and out of the curtains. As if that isn't a nice little invitation to entice kids to open them up like they love to do anyway. Ick.

well you have to understand that back then I'm sure they didnt know anyone would want to keep this stuff. Plus if it was by order of Fechter then you best do it, or he will have his people come and get you.
