I know Matt (Hat) is excited, considering he was complaining/whining about it when he heard it was a "Best Of" show, and he was talking about a Hibernation from CEC starting this summer show...that changed:b
So who wants to spill the beans...hey Mr. Mike Hill, im speaking for everyone on saying "What's going to be on the new show?" or "Is there a new live show?"

Oh I totally got the inside scoop on this one! This show features the return of Dr. Googolplex with his newest invention, a spaceship that runs on buffalo wings! They sing 'off we go into the wild blue yonder' and Mr. Munch eats all the fuel, causing them to run out in the middle of space and crash land onto a strange planet (pasqually drums wipeout and we go to intermission right after the crash)

After a couple D-mack's and coke spots they start back up and everybody is angry at eachother, highlighted by Jasper calling Munch a "gluttonous sack of s*it" and adds "You'd eat a whole @#%$ planet if it was made of pizza" and low and behold, they've crash landed on planet pizza!

Ahh, screw it. I thought I'd write a post making a mockery of the April 2003 show, but it's really not even worth the effort...

Maybe there should be a super jasper segment where he has to put out a fire with a wet mop.

definitely a montage where the costume characters go rockclimbing

or Pasqually sings Tutti Frutti, it's worth it just to keep hearing the irony of him saying "Wop"

Hey guys..
It's a good idea to run the show once it is received to ensure you didnt get a bad tape or DVD, that way you get it taken care of before the warrenty expires. I've addressed this in the show newsletter as well, along with the expration date for the warrenty. In addition to those of you that are currently working at a location to please pass on to the Tech's and GM's to read the newsletters cause most of the questions they call ask me are answered in the newsletter. One of the most common calls I get is them asking,"what shows do I send back?" There will always be a list of vaild shows in the newsletter.:)

ok jenn here is some of the inside scoop on the Sept 06 show

Note: This is from a Studio C Beta setup were im talking about

First off the show logo is amazing its sooooooo amazing that i cant even describe it and how it forms the CEC TV thing.

Secondly the sound track is amazing for this show its songs that you would least expet Dept 18 to do heck it even freaked out some of the employees when we installed that show they said "is this a chuck e show or is this some kind joke"

Next is the NEW PERMINENT LIVE SHOW!!!!! the name of the live show is called JUMPIN (HINT thats y i said "Jump over to CEC to see it":lol ) its very different and its like i said a perminant live show heck even our good friend Puppetmaster29 does the announcer for it at the begining

Next the movements the charaters movements are alot faster on a 16 movement Studio C Bot amd alot smoother and mike also did this thing with eyes that you gotta go to CEC to see

Next the show is ALL NEW everything is new about it the show new intermissions new logo EVERYTHING IS NEEEEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last is the RETRO SEGMENT which features 2 classic CEC songs those songs are THATS A DEAL!!! and DREAMING!!! and note Puppetmaster29 actually redid the movements and the lighting for the the 2 songs cuz i remember the origional lighting and movements for the Dreaming song

Ok, I worked and had the show on ALL weekend... and I am just gonna be honest, I am NOT feeling the show. It's not bad, but I am still all about The Ghetto @$$ Black Folks April 2006 Show as we call it at my store. LOL
I am sure it will grow on me.

My favorite part of the show are in Segment 2. *rolls eyes*

The Retro Time segment was really well done. With new dialogue and programming it was like watching these retro songs for the first time.

The videos are awesome! They keep getting better and better.

I hate to burst your bubble ChuckEFranchize454. but the intermssions are not really new at all. though the only things different are they made them into 3 mintue count downs and added catcher background music tunes to them.:D Yes I noticed with our three stage show how the lights are programmed differently and movments for on our three stage bots are programmed differently also. I love how our three stage chuck turns his eyes to the left when he says about the fun is always free at Chuck E. Cheese's lol. Then Pasqually says and my jokes are always free.:lol Pasqually your a comedian an a half. And your the best comedian too.:)

Well gang.....

I have finally been able to view the entire show now so can pass my rating on it.

I saw two skits performed on my local 2-stage which i enjoyed, but the full show i saw on a Studio C Beta. Here are my thoughts..

I enjoyed the song selection this time around. Some of the songs were great to hear ( She's Got the Look, other Helen number...forget the name of it..) and others were nice but in some cases did'nt seem to fit the characters to me. I would name the song, but i don't recall it's title. It was one sung by Chuck, and it did'nt seem like a tune that "fit" him. The following song in the skit was sung by Jasper, and i actually thought it would have "fit" better if the character choices were reversed ( as in Jasper sang Chuck's song instead, Chuck sang Jasper's..etc.)

The Animation ( which is what i prmarily watch...video can be seen at anytime YEARS afterwards...animation you only get that 3 month slot!) was done well. It was good to see the Garnie Bot' ( Studio C figure) get angry and lower his eyebrows when Chuck gets mad about his friends thinking he's giving aways stuff for free. The lip sych programming was also excellent ( yes, i closely watch this stuff!) and very quick...probably some of the quickest i have seen a long time.

Lighting effects were also used well ( Studio C setup) and then the video elements were also good.

What videos i did see ( i don't watch them in house usually...but afterwards when the show is no longer "valid") looked fine. It was good to see the bulk of them be mascot shots/characters doing things. It did'nt look like we had a lot of recycled stuff ( ALWAYS a good thing...) and the intermissions were not overly annoying ( the Over the Hedge spots were nice touches for the tie-in).

Now regarding the "Retro" skit section some people have been raving about......

It's just recycled songs from a few years back. Here's i'm thinking it was going to be something older...(mid 90's maybe?). It was nice to see these again, yes, ( exspecially "That's a Deal" with good ol' MIx! Woo Hoo!) but i could'nt really get that excited about it.

The "new" video segments with the characters were very good. I enjoyed what bits i saw. Nevin must be in heaven, is all i can say....lol!


So overall: I thought it had some good song selections, some nice video segments with the characters, and some fun dialog ( "nothing is free!!"..).

I LIKED it...but i was'nt overly crazy about it. It reminds me of some of the shows last year, but without the very annoying and dull-as-mud "Countdown" intermissions. Sept 06 is a GOOD show...it is....but it's not one i am overly excited over.

It's still GOOD though.....i liked it. It was definately a slight step up from previous offerings. Will be interested to see where this takes up from this point on....the sequence could set us up for another great-show run like we had in late 99' thru 01'.

Next year will be interesting methinks.....
